About The Author

Hey! I'm Zach Evans and here's the story of how I got started playing piano. When I was little, my Grandpa Evans would always be playing the piano at family gatherings. I wanted to be just like him, so I started taking lessons in kindergarten. I ended up quitting in 5th grade because my Mom made me practice before I could play basketball with my friends.

I picked it back up in college and got so involved with it I ended up switching my major to music. I had an amazing teacher who taught me some practice methods, and I was blown away by the speed at which they helped me learn difficult pieces. I got really into it, I started researching and testing different practice methods to find out which ones got results. This book is a compilation of all these strategies.

Why should you trust me? I do have a music degree with piano as my primary instrument. I think that's a terrible reason to trust me. A diploma is just a piece of paper that says nothing about how hard you work or your passion for your instrument. The only true test of musicianship is to hear someone play. And you can hear me play anytime on my youtube channel by clicking here and deciding for yourself. I've put up at least a video a week for the past 3 years. That was on top of school, work, and maintaining a social life. In order to learn songs fast, I used the exact practice strategies outlined in this book. I hope that's proof enough that they get results.

The other reason you should trust me is you can contact me at any time. Zach@zachevansmusic.com. Seriously! Email me right now and say whats up and I WILL get back to you within a day or two and answer any questions you have about the book. I want you to know I'm here to do anything I can to help you learn piano and get the most out of this book.
